Making Mistakes ~ A Good Thing?

I use to be so afraid of making mistakes in business because I was afraid to be ridiculed. It kept me away form doing the things i otherwise really enjoyed just because i was afraid a comments and people making fun of me or not agreeing with me. Well, NO MORE! I am confident now and although I still dread to be judged, who cares… I don’t judge others for their mistakes in their business or in their life. If someone wants to judge me, I say..fine go ahead! I am not stopping to climb just because someone tries to rip the ladder from under my feet. I just find a bigger ladder a wider ladder so I have a solid balance and nothing can bring me down…

What has been holding me back is procrastination and wanting to be just right. Letting the challenges and obstacles stand in the way as excuses to hide behind. So what now what and do it any way. Knowing that every step I take forward would I will grow stronger and more self confident and skilled. Knowing that I am one idea away from success. I need to just stand up and shout and know that this is me and this is the complete package. I am strong enough to love myself good or bad. Looking for the opportunities that life presents me.

Nathalie…I know I say this a lot but I love this one!! What a great way to put it. We learn more from our mistakes than our successes I think…those failures get stuck in your head:). I remember for me I was that way when I started video marketing a few years ago…I was scared to put myself out there. I had a mentor tell me when..when they see YOU on video YOU are the expert..they are coming to you. That really stuck in my mind and made me realize it didn’t have to be perfect and I just had to do it. I really love this post..and love your son’s quote also.

    Sincerely,
