How To Make Visualization More Powerful With NLP
When on a phone conversation with Melanie Cowpland, I asked her to shared tips on how to maximize results with my visualization. I have to be honest with you when she told me about Neuro Linguistic Programming, I didn’t have a clue what it was but now, I love this concept! Here a quick explanation I found on Melanie’s website:
NLP – is the missing link that turns talk into action. It rocks people into the place they want to be, while minimising the effort and pain in getting there.
In technical terms, NLP is a direct conversation with your subconscious; it’s a case of understanding how your brain processes information and using the insight you have gained to formulate solutions that bring the results you actually desire.
The knock-on effects include feeling more positive, getting much more done, having so much more energy. The results can be surprising, unexpected – and a wonderful, huge bonus in a busy life.
I couldn’t wait to try it and share it with everybody! For me this was a paradigm shift about how to refresh the time I spend getting my mindset in tune and I am so thrilled to give you a few details…
Hopefully this quick video I did for you will be inspire you to take more time for yourself. Our day goes by so quickly and I feel it is critical to take those few minutes every day to visualize and meditate and try simple techniques like NLP.

Hi Elizabeth,
Also what is great about this techniques is that you don’t have to meditate for 30 minutes to get results…I love it because you can use it anytime throughout your day and it takes a few minutes. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a beautiful day!

Hello Miriam,
I just got back from walking my doggies and I get in a meditative state and I look up at the sky a lot. For me looking up at the sky watching the clouds and the shapes they take takes me back to great memories as a little girl. It’s a great state to be reminded as for me, it represent simplicity and freedom to think and freedom to use our imagination. I’m glad you liked the video… I will do an interview with melanie and she explains it in details.
Hi Nathalie, Great Post! Thanks for sharing this video and info on NLP. I have a friend who is a practioner of NLP and he really helped me to learn how to use this technique along with meditation to achieve what I want to accomplish in life. I use NLP to stay focused and positive and it has really helped me to achieve my goals.
Hi Shelley,
I’m so thrilled you liked my video and post! That’s awesome you are using these techniques already! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Really enjoyed this post Nathalie. I’ve struggled with attempts to meditate, even though I do understand the value. I just have a problem getting my mind to calm down and focus. Which I guess means it’s something I should work on ….
I have enjoyed this so much Nathalie! Many people think that meditation takes hours, but actually it doesn’t. I meditate and incorporation NLP in my life. I’m a walking talking NLP and meditative gal. It does work! My mind is clear at any moment. The funny thing is that the more you do it, the more it becomes part of your life and like you said above, walking your dogs, and looking at the clouds can get you to another place…a place of peace.
I just love following your blog!
