Hi Nathalie,
Congratulations for your 1000 group fans Nathalie, I have 3 groups and 2 fan pages, and for me something that could kill a group or page is letting spammers post again and again their links.

Spammers are like a virus and if you let them unpunished they will keep spamming no matter what.

I used to just delete their links but this didn’t help since they didn’t get it and continue posting the same links again and again so now I just ban any member who post a spammy link.

I recommend every group owner to do the same and hopefully there will be less spam on Facebook…

These are all great basic tips for reaching a 1000. I have plans for when I reach 2500.

Congrats on reaching that. I have been a bad girl and not as active as I would have liked being caught up in local meetups and conference for speaking engagements.

I know the conference idea originally fell through, but have you thought about still having it. We could try it in St. Louis and even with 125 people, I know some decent locations that are not bad in pricing.

Congrats on the large growth of your group Nathalie. Being the “leader” of a large group like that can take quite a bit of work, unless you have some trusted helpers to monitor it.

So many reminders to add value. I love Facebook groups. Its such a fantastic way to meet other like minded people.

I would tell everyone get out and create your own Facebook group. Its a wonderful way to position yourself as a leader, add value to prospects, and have others introduce you to their current networks as well.
