5 Attraction Marketing Tips For Beginners

The premise of attraction marketing is fairly simple. Coupled with your own positive energy, you are more willing to help and provide service than you are to sell which makes you more attractive to your target market. Now, when a person is new to online marketing, this could sound intimidating.

Let’s look at 5 ways to make attraction marketing work for you even if you are new to online Marketing.

1~ Honesty is the Best Policy

Honesty is at at the core of your attraction marketing. You can’t just offer  information and advice on something you know nothing about.

You have to be honest and share things that you have experienced and share what you genuinely know. People can see right through a scam or someone lying. Be honest and share from the heart something you have learned today!

It doesn’t to be something super technical, only something that has served you and you know can serve others.

2~ Opportunity Lies in Transparency

When you are open and transparent with people it can open all kinds of opportunities for you. That doesn’t mean you have to spread your personal life all over the internet but it does mean you should share  your struggles as well as your triumphs and you can do this even if you started a online yesterday.

Let people see the real you. It’s also a part of branding yourself as well as attraction marketing.

3~ Bring Imagination

When you are new at using attraction marketing you want to get creative in how you can share with others. You can create updated and useful  content on your blog but there are many other ways to share content.

When on a webinar, you will learn a ton so take really great notes so you can offer your own power point presentation . record yourself and post the videos on your blog and even schedule webinars for your followers.about what you learned.

Another great way to offer  value to people who fallow you is to interview successful people in certain areas that are  relevent to your audience. Example: Women In Business or Time Management. Interview your sponsor or someone you know at first.

4~ What do you do that is unique?

Think of imaginative ways you can share. Remember, not everyone responds in the same way. Some people enjoy reading and others respond well to audio or video.

The sooner you explore other mediums, the more chances you put on your side to have people notice you!

5~ Don’t wait…Start Now!

Don’t wait to get started making attraction marketing work for you.  Everyone has something to offer others. It doesn’t matter how new you are…you just need to remember that you always know a little more then the person who started after you…

Let me know if this post helped you and don’t hesitate to share if  attraction marketing is something you trust can really help you with your business…

  1. That is so true. Give, inform, share and shine as yourself. This is a really thorough overview, Nathalie. I’m sure even totally newbies will find this helpful.

Hi Nathalie, great tips especially for those who are still on the fence about starting up their business. I definitely agree with #1 and #2. Sometimes people can surprise you. They can be more considerate than you think. And they are more prone to trust marketers who are honest about their flaws than the “perfect” ones who might be hiding secrets. Thank you for sharing.

    • Hello Stevie, I must say when I first got started online I was fallowing the people that seemed perfect and seemed like they had it all figured out…LOL I guest I thought it would be great to fallow someone who knew the most about “everything” and that would save me time in my learning curve…LOL Well…neithless to say, it was not the correct way to go about learning online skills… You have to do your due diligence and find the poeple who resonnates with you in a certain area and learn in phase… Yep… no short cut here baby…

    Definitely some great recommendations Nathalie!

Imagination combined with a flair of sheer transparency and honesty in a video is one I always like to SEE especially when…

the person shows her excitement about her topic and her confidence simply soars with each word spoken!

You don’t have to be a genius to make a difference; you simply have to care about people and embody business principles that engages and offers them value.

    • Hi Miriam, That is so well said Miriam! I am alosi just like you when it comes to watching someone sharing content through video. I feel it’s the best way to get your message out there and it builds your confidence ten folds. BTW…I love your videos as well beacause you are so passionate about what you bring to the table… Thanks Miriam

  4. Good ideas, Nathalie!

I especially like #4. When I first started blogging seriously for business, I thought no one would like my blog. I looked around at all the great blogs that teach the technical and marketing aspects of network marketing, I just knew I would never be able to do that, and thought my more homey, personal development type blog did not measure up. As it turns out, people DO like it, which showed me it really is best to be yourself. :)

  5. Great tips Nathalie! I remember being on a training once, and students were asking the trainers what kinds of things they could teach others, when they were brand new themselves.

And, the trainer said to contact your list or followers and tell them you’ve just got off a webinar with 7 figure income earners giving you priceless tips. And, you’re going to share those tips! Tell them that you paid over X amount of dollars, but you’re going to share the tips for free.

How easy is it to do something like that?

    Regards from Julieanne

    • Hello Julieanne, I like your example…seriously we sell ourselves way to short sometimes. we think others will not want to fallow our trainings when in fact, we offer troumendous value to others… The thing is people usually love to watch newer people share content because it gives them confidence! More people should be out there sharing what they know… Thanks for your comment Julieanne.

  6. Super tips! Sometimes it is easier when someone lays everything out for you. Thanks for sharing

    • Thanks for stopping by Joyce. I love steps and fallowing a plan that I know has worked for someone already… Jim Rohn is a great example that steps do matter when we fallow his teaching… Also, creating your own system at one point when you are ready IS critical…

  7. This is a great list Nathalie. Often times, explaining attraction marketers can be challenging because the last 10-20 years of “business” really broke people of understanding “how it works”. What seems unnatural is actually natural be we as a society are very out of practice! It is both a simple (be yourself) and advanced (learn to work within peoples tolerances at one level and deepen with them, so as not to blow them out with extremes before they have a chance to at least get curious) topic. Good stuff hun,
    Kim

    • Hi Kim, Great comment and yes i so agree that using our instinct is paramount when connecting with people. Some people are uncomfortable when someone a too open so it is important to “Mirror” and adapt to the other person until you establish rapport. Thanks for stopping by girl!

  8. Holly says:

Some great tips!! Sometimes we think we have heard it before, but it is amazing that when some one says it one day, we ‘get’ it!! When the student is ready the teacher appears!! Or maybe it just takes a few thumps aside the mind to hear it!! Lol… Thanks Nathalie!

    • Hi Holly, You are so right about that and I often get that feeling as well… I love to learn and sometimes, it’s jiust that time to get out there and teach what you know and become the magnet you deserve to be ;)

  9. Great tips. I think transparency is pretty important. Let people in a bit and let them get to know you. Especially when online where people can hide behind a web site. I have been on web sites where there was no name, email or phone number. Just a sales site. I generally leave the site and find someone else who is approachable.

    • Hi Melodie,

You are truly touching a super important point here…We always need to remain approachable and never forget where we come from. Websites that are not “Humanized” will need to have something really valuable for people to return…

  10. Nile says:

In transparency for business, it is a given you really do not want to drag out all of your personal life. I think it should be more in the way you conduct your business. If you are conducting business ethically and fairly, then people will see that they can trust you to not do business with them underhandedly.

Imagination is really important. It is that ‘think outside the box’ I keep speaking about at conferences. It applies to web design too. For example, a lot of web designers develop a habit of sticking with one type of style. It gets boring after a while as clients cannot get the memorable brand they need. In using imagination and stepping outside the designer’s comfort zone, they become a better designer than a lot of their peers.

    • Hi Nile,

I love the concept you are bringing here about transparency and thinking outside the box. The more you stand out and give something original to poeple whether as content creation or design or even one on one coaching, the more we “Listen” to people need and desires, the more we can become the go to person and many areas. I agree with you that people will know if we approach them with an agancy and will turn away pretty fast…Thanks for you comment Nile ;)

  11. Rick Lelchuk says:

    Nathalie,

I don’t think you have to be a beginner to mind those tips. Getting back to the basics in anything you do is important. The basics is the foundation to a thriving life.

    Thanks for the reminder!

    In clarity and success,

    RICK

    • Hi Rick,

I think you are absolutly right… I like to you are saying that as well as well because now that I think about it, coming back to the basics can be of service to many people. We forget what we learn pretty fast sometimes and it’s great to re-visit the core basics and get a refresher that is simple..It gets us thinking again…LOL

  12. Great tips – you know I have a confession to make. I have a real issue taking the term ‘attraction marketing’ seriously because when I hear that it makes me think of the whole ‘secret’ movement. Funny, but that’s just my hang-up. Anyway, solid advice for beginners. Thanks!

    • Hi Marquita, When I first heard the term attraction marketing it was while ready Mike Dillars “Magnetic Sponsoring” and I was totally new to online marketing…I have to say that having seen the movie The Secret so many years ago, I didn’t even make the connection until I started to be on Social Media more and visited some of the group that are about attraction/the secret type… It’s funny how for you it so present with the term… I think of it as a skill we should master through personal development ;)

  13. Awesome tips for the beginner and also the seasoned marketer. I like number one because Honesty is the best policy. To be candid and honest will attract more people than anything rehearsed or not from your own heart and mind.
People sometimes forget that we all have intuition. We may not realize it, but we do resonate with honesty.
    Thanks for all the tips,
    Donna

  14. Excellent work and a really good information here. Thanks.
